Amber Bay is a newly modernized, purpose built bed and breakfast, located in the heart of Galway overlooking Salthill, and the beaches of Galway bay.

At Amber Bay Bed and Breakfast we pride ourselves by ensuring your stay with us is relaxing and comfortable. We are sure you will not find a friendlier, cleaner, or well equipped bed and breakfast in Galway.

We have a number of luxurious rooms for your sleeping comfort. We have double, twin, family or bay view rooms. A master suite is also available.

Guests at Amber Bay Bed & Breakfast can enjoy the comfort and elegance of our TV lounge or dine in our spacious breakfast room.

Outdoor seating is available at the front and back garden areas and on our large balcony with panoramic views over Galway bay.

Amber Bay is ideal to explore the west of Ireland, in easy reach of Connemara, Clifden, and the ferry to the famous Aran Islands.

From Galway airport to Amber Bay.

At the airport exit take a left turn and drive until you reach the lynch roundabout approx 6km.
At the Lynch roundabout take the 3rd exit in the direction n59 Clifden.
At the Morris roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction n59 Clifden.
At the Font roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction n59 Clifden.
At the Kirwin roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction city center.
At the Bodkin roundabout take the 4th exit in the direction n59 Clifden.
At the Browne roundabout take the 3rd exit in the direction Salthill.
At the Deane roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction Salthill.
At the traffic lights go straight ahead until you reach the sea.
At the sea road roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction Spiddal.
Keep driving on this road and you will see an EMO petrol station and a STATOIL petrol station on your right side.
Keep driving and Amber bay is 300 meters on the right side.
