B&B Location
|
By train: The nearest railway station is Bodmin Parkway, approximately 30 minutes from our country house accommodation in North Cornwall.
By air: We are only 30 minutes away from Newquay Airport, with Ryanair running daily direct services from London Stansted Airport and both South West Air and British Airways from Gatwick.
By road: These detailed directions start at Camelford which for most people is probably best reached by way of Exeter continuing along the A30 to Launceston, shortly after entering North Cornwall and then taking the A395 at Launceston to Camelford. In Camelford, continue south along the A39 in the direction of Wadebridge. About six miles from Camelford the road leaves the River which it has been following and enters the village of St. Kew Highway, a Petrol Station on the right. Approximately 300 yards from the Petrol Station is a Chapel on the right, take this turning to the right which leads to St. Kew. Follow this road for approximately 3/4 mile, pass a row of houses on your right and the main road will shortly after that, swing to the right for St. Kew - do not follow it but go straight on. You will then go through a ford. Carry on up the hill to the T junction at the top, by the school. At the T junction go right and then immediately left. About 300 yards further along you will meet a T junction where the road you are on is in fact the main road and will turn to the right. Start slowing at this point as about 200 yards is a signpost for TREGELLIST to the left, with a postbox on your right. Go left here for about 100 yards and follow the road around to the left where the Trevinnick track leads off. After about 300 yards you will enter the hamlet of Tregellist, go down through, turn right and Tregellist Farm will be in front of you.
