It is set in an idyllic position at the end of a no through road in four acres of gardens and paddocks. There are many footpaths to walk around from Eel’s Foot itself and further afield.

Halesworth is 5 miles and the seaside town of Southwold is 14 miles away and access to many other coastal locations is quick and easy. Constable Country is accessible too. There are two good pubs within a short drive and Halesworth , Harleston and Bungay, are close at hand, offering a variety of pubs and restaurants.

The fine city of Norwich is 25 miles away, with good restaurants, theatres and cinemas.

It is an ideal touring base for both Norfolk and Suffolk.

The ACCOMMODATION at Eel's Foot (which is non smoking) is principally one letting room (which can be either a double or twin bedded room) and separate shower room/wc. It is approached from the lounge by its own staircase. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided, including fresh milk

I can also accommodate two couples holidaying together. The additional bedroom is in the old part of the cottage and shares the facilities of the main letting bedroom. It is only available when booked with the main room.

The lounge has both a TV with Sky and a CD player which guests may use.

There is also a patio outside the lounge and a garden with a pond and summerhouse which guests are welcome to use during the summer months.
