Our farmhouse is a tastefully restored Grade II listed farmhouse boasting beautiful views of rolling countryside, woodlands and wildlife.

We have two captivating rooms to choose from, both with luxury ensuite shower facilities, fluffy towels and some thoughtful little extras. Each room has seating, colour remote control television, clock radios and hairdryers. Fresh milk, real coffee, and speciality teas are provided along with wine glasses and a cork screw. All rooms are fully central heated.

The guest sitting room has a woodburning stove and is furnished with comfortable chairs and sofa, plus a wide selection of books and guides to Cornwall. A perfect place to relax in after your days endeavour.

St Austell Attractions

Golf, fishing, cycle hire and coastal walks are all within easy reach of Higher Kestle Farm as well as the many safe sandy beaches our Cornish coastline has to offer.

Why not take a stroll through our own woodland to the renowned "Lost Gardens of Heligan" and enjoy this enchanting Victorian garden.

Higher Kestle is centrally situated so you can explore the whole of Cornwall. Most of it can be reached in an hour's drive. The south coast is famous for its fishing villages and hidden creeks whereas the north coast has the surfing beaches and rugged coastline.

Just 1 mile away is the famous "Lost Gardens of Heligan" and the Eden Project is only a 20 minute drive. We have many National Trust gardens to visit including Trelissick, perched at the head of the Fal Estuary. You may wish to get there by the King Harry Ferry.

If your passion for horticulture is kindled by Cornwall's gardens then visit some of the nurseries. Included are Pine Lodge near St Austell and Trewithen near Probus. We will be happy to assist you with directions to some of these fabulous gardens.

The picturesque fishing village of nearby Mevagissey offers numerous small gift shops, restaurants and pubs. There are also boat trips and deep sea fishing available from the harbour.

Cornwall offers the most scenic golf courses in the UK. Even if you're not inclined to seriously swinging a club, there's some fantastically positioned pitch and putt greens.

Eating and drinking in Cornwall has become a haven. Plenty of yummy places to eat and lots of pubs serving Cornish Ales.

One of Cornwall's newest places to shop is the award winning "Lobbs Farm Shop", situated on the edge of our farm and run by our family and staff. We pride ourselves in producing a wide range of beef and lamb straight from our own farm. Along with the meat counter we have a wide selection of cheeses, vegetables and sell a huge variety of Cornish produce. This farm shop is truly worth a visit.
