Bed and Breakfast Description
Overlooking the river Usk, and only 10 minutes walk to Crickhowell town centre, Park Place offers stunning views of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. Come and stay with us in comfortable and welcoming surroundings - you won't be disappointed! We are in a quiet location a short distance away from the busy A40 but with all the facilities of the town within easy reach. Whatever the reason for your visit, business or pleasure, a warm welcome awaits you from the owners of Park Place Guest House. We look forward to making you welcome and comfortable during your stay with us, whether for one night or a week we are renowned for our hospitality. We will do our very best to exceed your expectations whilst with us.



Local Attractions
Situated in the hamlet of The Legar we are a short scenic walk from Crickhowell town centre and close to Crickhowell bridge. Park Place is conveniently located for those wishing to take part in a multitude of activities including walking, fishing, orienteering, gliding, hang-gliding, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, sailing & windsurfing, horse riding, caving and cave diving or just relaxing away from it all. We also welcome motorcyclists!!

B&B Location

From the M4: Leave the M4 at Junction 24 and head north on the A449 for approximately 12 miles. Turn off onto the A40 heading for Abergavenny. After about 10 miles you will come to the Abergavenny roundabout that is the junction between the A40, A4042, and A465 . Take the second exit onto the A465. At the first roundabout take the third exit for Gilwern and Crickhowell. Follow the road through to Gilwern village and turn right opposite the Post Office immediately after the Beaufort Arms pub. Bear left onto the A4077 Gilwern road and after about 3 miles arrive at The Legar. Park Place is 200 metres on your left.

From the M5 North: Leave the M5 at Junction 8 and follow the M50 towards Abergavenny and Brecon. The M50 merges into the A449 which then merges into the A40 which winds through the Wye valley towards Abergavenny via Monmouth and Raglan. When you come to the large roundabout outside Abergavenny, that is the junction between the A40, A4042, and A465 . Take the second exit onto the A465. At the first roundabout take the third exit for Gilwern and Crickhowell. Follow the road through to Gilwern village and turn right opposite the Post Office immediately after the Beaufort Arms pub. Bear left onto the A4077 Gilwern road and after about 3 miles arrive at The Legar. Park Place is 200 metres on your left.
