Bed and Breakfast Description

Mick and Sue Faryluk look forward to receiving visitors to their forty-acre farm in glorious Cornwall. You can relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings, or enjoy walking around the farm and surrounding area, taking advantage of the stunning views across the Cober valley to the sea at Porthleven.

In the farmhouse we have three double rooms with plenty of wardrobe space. All our bedrooms have en suite shower rooms. The larger family room has both a shower and bath.

The rooms are centrally heated, cosy and comfortable with views across the valley. There are hot drink making facilities with a varied selection of beverages and biscuits and colour TV in all rooms.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory dining room. A full buffet style continental breakfast as well as hot food of your choice cooked to order. We produce are own bacon and sausages, bake our own bread and our eggs are collected from the free range poultry pens daily. We also offer alternatives of fish or continental cuisine.

Evening dinner is available on request. We endeavor to serve that which is produced from the farm or locally. All our meals are prepared and cooked on the farm. Truly home made. We do not use processed or prepackaged food items. We particularly cater for Vegetarian and other special diets.

Open all year round, we are a non Smoking establishment. We welcome Walkers, Bikers, Water sports enthusiasts etc. Pick up from Local Rail Station (Redruth) and Airport (Newquay) can be arranged.

Redruth Attractions

The farm is well situated for travel around Cornwall and for access to both North and South coasts. Plenty of quiet coves and bays are within easy reach, with safe sandy beaches for children and adults. We feel very fortunate to live in a totally unspoiled area of Cornwall at the head of the Lizard peninsula only a short car journey from Helston and Falmouth.

Aswell as all the wonderful places you can visit around Cornwall, we also have lots for you to do and see here at the farm. The activities you will be able to enjoy here on the farm will depend on the time of year you choose to visit us.

Lambing - Lambing usually takes place in the spring and we have lambs about at various stages of growth throughout the summer

Poultry - As well as chicken eggs, we always have duck eggs on sale at the farm. We often have newly born ducklings around the place. They are really fun to watch.

Piglets - Our pigs help us to dig the garden and help recycle our garden and kitchen vegetable waste. They are always an attraction for our visitors.

Hay making - Hay making is a big event aswell as a big effort and we usually cut 3 times a year when the weather permits; June, July and August.

Or even visit us for a winters break, You could help collect the mail from the end of the lane!!

B&B Location

Take the Redruth junction off the A30 and follow the signs to Redruth town centre. Go through Redruth and at the third set of traffic lights turn right onto the B3297 towards Helston. Proceed up the hill from the lights for approx. one-mile until you see turning to your left towards Stithians Lake. Continue along the same road over the lake past the Golden Lion Inn, the road twists and turns but stay on the same road until after a sharp left hand bend you come into the village of Penmarth.
