Heather House is a non-smoking guest house noted for its comfortable ambience, good service and excellent location.
It's only ten minutes walk to town for the colleges, cafes, pubs, punting, meadows, museums and other Oxford delights.
Frequent buses serve town, train and coach stations or you can walk to the London and airport buses, to Oxford Brookes' main campuses or by the Thames to Iffley village with its famous lock and C12th church. The ring road, science and business parks and hospitals are easily reached by bus or car.
The detached Edwardian house is set back from the road and this provides a quiet aspect as well as off-road parking. Being a small establishment we are able to give personal attention to guests' needs ... breakfast preferences, local sightseeing and travel information. We welcome children of any age. There's also a computer, wi-fi internet access and VOIP (Skype)'phoning for your convenience.
The double , twin and family bedrooms are all ensuite (shower, basin and w.c.). The single bedroom has its own bath, shower and w.c. nearby and a basin in the room. All rooms have TV, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee, hair dryer, radio, alarm clock and WiFi internet access.
The lounge room is a welcoming space for a quiet spot of reading, planning your excursions and onward travels or just relaxing with the T.V. or friends ......There are many books of Oxford interest, local and overseas guidebooks and brochures on Oxford and U.K. attractions. |
