Bed and Breakfast Description

Each of the modern en-suite rooms have been finished in a comtemporary style. Within each room tea and coffee making facilites along with a visitors pack providing further information on the hotel and the City of Liverpool can be found. All bedrooms are non smoking.

Standard
All of our standard rooms have a spacious, modern bathroom finished to an excellent standard and include a power shower. Each room has been completed with a colour television and wireless internet access is available throughout the majority of the hotel.

Local Attractions
Due to its diverse history and culture, Liverpool offers attractions to suit all visitors. If you are visiting Liverpool for the first time discover more about the City with a Music walking tour. Pete Wylie from The Mighty Wa will take you on a tour of Liverpool's music scene from the 1960's to the present day passing clubs and venues in the World Capital of Pop.

You can shop till you drop or play a relaxing game of golf, taste the excellent cuisine of a maritime city or enjoy the vibrant and varied nightlife.

For the true football fans, both of the premiership football clubs offer guided tours of their grounds.

To find out more about the City's history, connections with the pop band The Beatles and view the fine architecture go on a tour of the city either on an open-topped bus or on the yellow duck marine.

What ever the reason for your visit to Liverpool some attractions cannot be missed.

The Albert Dock, an award winning heritage attraction housing an assortment of galleries, museums, shops, restaurants and bars. The Tate Gallery one of the largest modern art galleries outside London is a must when strolling around the Albert Dock. To learn more about the region's maritime heritage visit the Maritime Museum with its carefully modeled displays and family activities.

East of the City Centre you will find the impressive architecture of the Metropolitan Cathedral and Anglican Cathedrals, both of which are breath taking.

During the evening entertainment can be found in one of our nationally renowned theatres, The Fact centre, Liverpool's cutting-edge arts centre dedicated to film, art and technology or one of the comedy clubs. On a lighter note, the night can be danced away in the wide range of bars, pubs and clubs Liverpool has to offer.

From M62
Exit M62 follow signs for city centre. Follow the dual carriage way to the fork in the road. Take the left fork then turn right into Mount Vernon which becomes London Road. Follow this road to the bottom. At the traffic lights turn left, drive past the Empire Theatre and turn left into Lord Nelson Street. The Lord Nelson Hotel is situated halfway up the street on the left.

From M53
Exit the tunnel following city centre signs. Turn left on to Hunter Street. At the traffic lights turn right onto Norton Street, then turn right onto London Road, take the next left turn before the traffic lights on to Hotham Street. The Lord Nelson Hotel is at the end of the street on the left.

By Train
Exit Liverpool Lime Street via the Lord Nelson Street exit. Turn right and walk 200m and The Lord Nelson Hotel is on the corner of Hotham Street on the left.

Further a field the city of Manchester with it's football stadia (Manchester United and Manchester City), excellent shopping and airport is only approximately 1 hours drive or by train.
