Blue wisteria and scarlet creepers ramble this lovely 16th Century coaching house and Georgian farmhouse in the Shropshire/Welsh borderlands.

A country house with period oak furnishings plus attractive decor and lovely fabrics which add to the history and character. Separate charming dining room and drawing room with log fire. Oak staircase, marble fire place, woodburning stove and fresh flowers.

Excellent farmhouse breakfasts with own free-range eggs. Complimentary refreshments on arrival and throughout your stay.

Five to ten minutes walk to old canalside inn and superb warehouse restaurant.

Feed titbits to Spicey, our Shetland foal, or spot Fowler the colourful rooster while collecting the eggs.

Attractive fully equipped en-suites or a private luxury corner bath/shower room. Colour TV, beverage trays, hair dryers, easy chairs, fans for hot days and warm bedding for cooler nights in all bedrooms.

Also available two interconnecting bedrooms (family suite). A choice of Superking size, double or twin beds all with fresh crisp bed linen.

Local Attractions
Easily located near the tiny church on the edge of Maesbury village, an even older settlement than Oswestry which features in Brother Cadfael novels. Many boundary battles fought here, hence Offa's and Wat's Dykes.
Plenty of safe parking and lockable old stables for bicycles, pets etc.

Visit bustling Oswestry, a Border market town with street markets and varied interesting small shops
