Dave and I opened Hollybush in 1987 when our two children were very young, seeing a need in Oxford for quality family accommodation. We have learnt a lot about people from all over the world and their needs and expectations. We really enjoy the business and giving people a comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful city of Oxford.
Our house was built in 1912 and is a very pretty detached home with a large beautiful garden which guests are welcome to sit in during fine weather. The décor is updated regularly and we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of all areas. We are two minutes walk from Tolkien's grave, and our location provides easy access to Witney and the Cotswolds. We have maps and tourist information to help you enjoy your stay.
We are ideally situated just 2.5 miles from the city centre on an excellent bus route which passes our door every 6 minutes. We also have parking which is very useful with many parking restrictions now imposed nearer the centre.
