The Donnington is conveniently situated in the Cathedral City of Truro in a delightful Victorian house with loverly views over the City and Countryside.
Truro lies at the heart of Cornwall. This makes it ideal for trips to Land's End in the West, Falmouth and the Lizard in the South and Newquay and Padstow on the North coast. The many dramatic coastal attractions or historic country houses and gardens are less than 30 minutes drive away.
The Donnington, with its ample car parking, is ideally located in a residential area on main bus and road routes. Within a few minutes you can be in the City centre, with its first class shopping and its Railway Station with good connections to the rest of the country. |

B&B Location
|
| |
THE DONNINGTON is ideally situated whether travelling by air, train, car or cycle.
The airport at St. Mawgan, just outside Newquay, is 30 minutes away and has regular flights to London and UK regional airports and connecting flights to Europe and further afield.
The station is only 2 minutes away by car/taxi and 10 minutes by walking. There are Inter City and other local rail connections.
The main road link through Cornwall, east to west, is the A30. This Cornish artery can be reached easily from us.
From the roundabout on the A30 with wind farm on the right hand side, turn left along the A39 signposted Truro and proceed for about 7 miles. Upon reaching a T junction and traffic lights turn right. Go another 300 yards to some more traffic lights and go straight across. Go on a further 400 yards to a roundabout with a Police Station on the left and a garage on the right. Go straight on for another 400 yards to another roundabout with a superstore Tesco on the left. Go across, at about 10 o'clock, and proceed up the hill along a stretch of dual carriageway, which bends to the right. At the top there are 2 mini roundabouts, signposted to the left Falmouth, to the right Truro, and straight on, Bodmin. Go straight on. After 500 yards you will see the Donnington signpost on the right hand side of the road.
