Bosayne lies only 300 metres from the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean, as they crash on dramatic cliffs and coves.

A warm welcome awaits guests in the comfortable surroundings of our home.

Tintagel Attractions

The centre of Tintagel is only a two minutes stroll away and is steeped in history and folklore. King Arthur’s legendary birthplace, Tintagel Castle is the main drawing point for tourists. The English Heritage site sits perched high on the cliff-tops with Merlin's Cave running beneath.

Bosayne is an ideal touring base for the surrounding area, the rest of Cornwall and parts of Devon. In close proximity are Bossiney Cove and Trebarwith Strand. Both are great bathing and surfing beaches. Outdoor enthusiasts will find walking and cycling routes crossing the countryside and trailing the sea on coastal paths. Bosayne is only 22 miles from the famous Eden Project and a little further to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Cornwall is very spiritual and contains many sites with standing stones including Man An Tol and Trethevy Quoit.

B&B Location

Directions from the M5

Follow the M5 then take the A30 at the end.

Just past Launceston take the A395 signposted North Cornwall, Wadebridge, Camelford.

The village you are heading for is Hallworthy. You will also drive through Pipers Pool and past the wind turbines.

In Hallworthy turn right just past the pub, (not immediate turning for Hallworthy Market but next to this turning) signposted B3262 for Otterham Station and Bude.

Upon reaching A39 T junction turn left towards Wadebridge and Camelford.

After 1 mile turn right, signposted Boscastle and Tintagel. Continue for 2.5 miles until you reach the crossroads. Go straight across (approx 3 miles to Tintagel).

You will feel as though this road winds on forever, it takes you down into Tintagel passing the Maybridge factory and Tintagel Pottery.

You will come to a T junction, turn left into Tintagel village.

Drive through the village past the Visitor Centre, shops, King Arthur's Great Hall, Cornishman Pub, The Woottons Pub, Castle Car Park and Tintagel Country Club. Once past the Country Club (RHS) we are just a bit further up on the right (just before the bend and the Headlands Caravan Park). If you come to the Camelot Castle Hotel and a dead end you have gone too far!
