Bed and Breakfast Description
Loe Lodge consists of two double-bedded rooms and two twin/family rooms.Each room has its own individual décor and all rooms are en-suite with TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests are welcome to bring their horses as full holiday livery is available with grazing and use of exercise arena. Many interesting walks and bridle paths are easily accessible. The Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District and the Lancashire coastal resorts are all within easy reach.



Local Attractions
With over half of Bury made up of green space, from country parks with ancient woodlands to wild moorland, it is a great place to experience the great outdoors. If you are exploring on two wheels, then you will find safe way marked cycle ways across the district, some of which are also dedicated bridleways. Part of the National Cycle Network passes through the area. Burrs activity centre, in Burrs Country Park, offers canoeing courses, raft building and orienteering, or you may just want the challenge of scaling the indoor climbing wall. Bury offers easy access to the area’s major sporting venues. A direct Metrolink service operates to Old Trafford for both Manchester United and Lancashire County Cricket Club and there are good links to the nearby Reebok Stadium and Edgely Park. There is also a great mix of shopping. The Mill Gate shopping centre is easily accessible with convenient parking and the Metrolink nearby. Real bargain hunters need look no further than Bury’s famous market located right in the heart of Bury town centre.First granted its charter in 1440 it is now one of the most successful markets in the UK attracting visitors from all over the country. There are over 350 stalls selling everything you can think of including Bury’s famous black pudding. The restored East Lancashire Railway, which runs along the picturesque Irwell Valley, is not only a great day out it is also one of the area’s more unusual places for lunch. Connoisseurs of real ale should try Bury’s very own microbrewery based at the Lord Raglan pub in Nangreaves village. Beers include local favourites ‘Forever Bury’ and ‘Nanny Flyer’

Directions to Loe Lodge from M66

From M66 motorway exit junction 1
Turn right onto A56 until you reach a set of traffic lights
Turn left to Ramsbottom over railway and up to the cross roads
Turn left onto A676 and go straight through two sets of lights 1 mile approx
After second set you will pass B6215 to Tottington on your left
100 meters past B6215 on the right next to stone wall and between two stone posts is Redisher lane
150m up Redisher Lane turn left
Travel for 300m to Loe Lodge

Directions to Loe Lodge from Bolton

From Bolton leave the A666 right onto A673 To Burnley
At the lights turn left onto the A676 still heading to Burnley
After 1 mile approx take the right hand fork past Royal Oak pub
Next set of lights turn left and travel through village of Hawkshaw
After leaving the village round the bends the road straightens with open fields on left
Turn left when houses resume between two stone gate posts next to a large stone wall into Redisher lane ( B&B sign )
After 150 m turn left, Loe Lodge is at the end of the lane
