Bed and Breakfast Description

Welcome to the Rostrevor. The hotel comprises of two spacious family houses that have been carefully converted.

Built in the late 19th Century overlooking parkland, it now offers a quiet, comfortable and modern hotel accommodation with feature fireplaces and decorative plaster work - a reminder, perhaps, of the splendour and values of a bygone era - plus traditional Northern hospitality.

Each of The Rostrevor's bedrooms is individually colour co-ordinated and tastefully furnished.

Bedrooms also have en-suite bathrooms, colour televisions, radio alarm clocks, tea and coffee making facilities and are fitted with thermostatically controlled central heating.

You can also relax in our lounge and take in the pleasant comfortable atmosphere of The Rostrevor Bar.

Local Attractions
The East Lancashire Railway operates Steam and Diesel Trains between Bury and Rawtenstall with period tea-rooms at Bury, offering views of the locomotives arriving and departing the station. A trip through the Irwell valley powered by steam is a must for railway enthusiasts.

Sport and leisure facilities at the Castle Leisure Centre are among the finest in the North.

Theatres, Shops, Bury's famous markets, pubs and restaurants offer excellent value for money.
 

B&B Location
The M60, M61 and M62 form the major road system, linking all points of the compass via the A1, M1 and M6 with the local M66 motorway running North-South through Bury itself.

We are easy to find, situated just off junction 17 of the M60, on the A56.

Bury is also serviced by the Metrolink, Greater Manchester tram system.
