The hotel just been recently refurbished high levels of comfort in all our rooms. Free & secure Wi-fi internet thouth out the hotel. We can accommodate up to 25 guests in our rooms.
The Balkan Lodge Hotel is located in the Iffley area of Oxford, close to the River Thames, or Isis as it is known in Oxford. The hotel is close to Oxford city centre a 5 minute bus or a taxi ride with easy access to the ring road and the M40 motorway connecting London and Birmingham and their airports. The hotel is also a 5 minute drive from the Oxford based BMW Mini plant. The hotel has its own private secure gated car park for all guests.
The 13 bedrooms are comfortably and tastefully furnished and are all en-suite. All rooms have bath/shower and tea/coffee making facilities plus a colour television with telephone, radio, alarm clock, trouser press and hair dryer in all rooms. For that little extra luxury we also have a room with a splendid four poster bed and jaccusi which can also make a romantic honeymoon suite Our breakfast room serves a full English or vegetarian breakfast which is included in the price next door to our Comfortable fully licensed Bar & guest lounge. |

By Car
From the North, leave the M40 at junction 9 taking the A34 south towards Oxford, Leave at the 6th exit signposted Hinksey Hill Interchange. At the roundabout take the first exit and then at the the next roundabout take the first exit signposted City Centre, onto the Abingdon Road. The hotel can be found approximately 1 mile on the left.
From the South, leave the M4 at junction 13, taking the A34 north towards Oxford, leave at exit signposted Hinksey Hill Interchange for Ring Road/City Centre (M40/A423/A4144), following for the City Centre. At the next roundabout take the first exit, still following for the City Centre, onto the Abingdon Road. At the second set of traffic lights turn right onto Donnington Bridge Road. At the end of this road, turn right at the traffic lights and then immediately left onto Boundary Brook Road. The hotel's private car park is the first entrance on the left.
From London
Leave the M40 at junction 8 taking the ring road towards Cowley (A4l42) pass BMW works, over the flyover, and turn right at the next roundabout with lights onto the Iffley Road. Continue along this road until you pass a Peugeot garage on your left, then turn right at the next set of traffic lights (where you will see the hotel on your right hand side on the corner) onto Boundary Brook Road. The hotel's private car park is the first entrance on the left.
By Train
The closest rail link is Oxford, 1.5 miles away from the Hotel. Alternatively there is the Didcot Parkway, 11 miles from the Hotel. For both stations you would need to take a taxi to the Hotel.
By Air
Heathrow is the closest airport, 47 miles. Birmingham is the second closest, 59 miles.
