Hosts Charlotte and Ian are proud of the friendly and informal atmosphere that they have created in this 16th century farmhouse which has been carefully upgraded to a high standard whilst retaining the period feel ambiance.

Whatever the holiday or break you envisage you will find that you can indulge in the best of everything from a quiet leisurely weekend without leaving the grounds, visiting local beauty spots, or heading for the nearby vibrant city life.

The comfortable rooms always welcome you back from your chosen activities and provide you with all the creature comforts you need.

You can also relax with our excellent home cooked food and in our intimate bar.

FROM THE SOUTH M6:-
-Come off at junction 19 just after Knutsford Services.
-Follow the signs for Stockport / Manchester which will bring you along a dual carriageway.
-You will then come to a large roundabout. Take the M56 sign for Stockport / Manchester.
-Stay on the motorway and just after the airport you will see a sign for Stockport M60.
-Take this left slip road **(M60 Circular East).
-Pass all the signs for Stockport and at Junction 25 (signed Bredbury) leave the motorway.
-This will then bring you round two roundabouts which are close together. Continue following signs for Bredbury and you will come to a set of traffic lights. There will be a pub on your
right called the Travellers' Call.
-Turn left at these traffic lights on to the A560 and stay on this road until you come to a Volkswagen dealership (Smith, Knight and Faye) after 2 miles and there you will see
the word York's written on the road to indicate the lane for Yorkshire.
-There will also be a sign which shows a right turn for Sheffield and Werneth Low Country Park.
-Take this right turn and when you come to the Grapes Hotel (after 1/3 of a mile) turn right into Joel Lane.
-When you come to the top of the Joel Lane do not go over the speed bump.
-Turn left into Werneth Low Road. Uplands Road is immediately after three houses (4/5th of a mile) on the right.
-Turn right into Uplands Road.
-Needhams Farm is at the end of the farm track which is 1/2 mile long and takes a sharp left turn at the bottom of the hill.
-When you reach the farm you can travel no further as it is a dead end.
-If you pass the Golf Club or arrive at Harbour Lights Restaurants (closed) you have gone past Uplands Road.
-Do not go down the hill at the restaurant. Turn round and come back.
-Uplands Road will then be before the houses on your left.
