B&B Location
|
| |
We are located in the centre of Headington, which has its own shopping area and is conveniently located for the Nuffield, Churchill and John Radcliffe Hospitals.
Oxford is in the Heart of England, central to both the south, London and the north, Birmingham and beyond via the M40. It is also easily reached from the West Country via the M4 and A34. Wales and the Lake District are also within a day's drive, making it a good place to include in a UK tour. If you come by plane both Heathrow and Gatwick are easily accessible by car or coach direct from the airports. A coach also runs from Stansted if your flight lands there.
From the north, catch the M40 southbound to Junction 8a. Come off at the slip road up to a mini roundabout. Bear right crossing back over the motorway to another mini roundabout passing the service centre. Follow the road around and down to the A40 to Oxford. This is a dual carriageway and leads past the Park and Ride to a roundabout. This roundabout marks the ring road. Go directly across heading for the city centre and Headington. Pass two sets of traffic lights and you will find yourself in the Headington shops area and an intersection. At these traffic lights, bounded by Barclays Bank, Buckell & Ballard Estate Agents and a Budgens shop, take a left down Windmill Road. We are about 200 yards down on the left.
From the south or London catch the M40 northbound to Junction 8. Exit this slip road to the A40. This is a dual carriageway and leads past the Thornhill Park and Ride to a roundabout.
