The 17th Century Anchor Inn has been a focal point on Exmoor for many years, with an unrivalled reputation for offering excellent dining, high quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation and the most stunning views along the River Exe and out towards the majestic moorland that surrounds it. The Anchor Inn offers superb Bed and Breakfast accommodation with six rooms, including our Superior Room for a special weekend away. Overlooking the River Exe and our extensive gardens, the rooms are tastefully decorated to maximise relaxation. Breakfast is provided by our award-winning chef to your requirements.



Local Attractions
The Anchor Inn at Exebridge offers the perfect jumping off point to explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park and its surrounding valleys. The thriving town of Dulverton, just five miles from the Inn, offers visitors a rich selection of local shops, selling hand-crafted gifts and high quality produce. A few miles further onto the moor, visitors can explore the stunning Tarr Steps, take part in water-sports at Wimbleball Lake or fish from the banks of the River Exe or the well stocked neighbouring Exebridge fishing lakes. Footpaths and bridleways criss-cross Exmoor, offering ramblers of all levels of experience and fitness the chance to take in the breaktaking scenery. 400 yards from the Inn is the Lakeside Caravan Club Park, offering a well-appointed base from which to explore our beautiful part of the country.

A half hour’s drive will take you to the North Devon coast, with soft sandy beaches and dramatic sea views. And at the end of a hard day enjoying yourself, you can retire back to The Anchor Inn and relax in our cosy bar or dine in one of our elegant restaurants.
