Linda and Llew would like to extend a warm welcome to you and would like to invite you to share the comfort and relaxed friendly atmosphere of our non-smoking family home. Come and discover the unique experiences of our guest house, where home and host are individual and offer you an excellent personal service with facilities to match.
Bostrase is set in an inspiring, peaceful and secluded valley and yet is only one mile from the north coast with its glorious sandy beaches and cliff top walks.
It is tucked away in its beautiful cottage gardens which are set within an acre of land.
Although Bostrase is secluded, it is ideally placed from which you can plan your holiday. St Ives is only 5 miles away and Penzance only 8 miles, your nearest beach is a mere 2 miles away.
Bostrase is surrounded by excellent public footpaths for those guests who wish to explore the area on foot.
We very much hope that you will come to stay with us very soon on your holidays.
Our Bedrooms
All of our rooms and tastefully decorated and all have on-suite facilities. Additional room facilities include terrestrial colour television and Tea/Coffee making facilities.
Our rooms also include double wardrobes and a chest of draws for use by our guests during their stay. All rooms have extensive views across either our mature gardens or the surrounding countryside.
The 'Bostrase' Full English Breakfast is sure to make a lasting impression with its manly portions and freshly prepared ingredients, whilst also setting you up for the day ahead.

For most of us, a holiday means lying happily on a sun drenched beach or relaxing and watching the world go by. West Cornwall is the perfect place for this but the region can offer another challenging world of exhilarating activity including surfing, cycling, sailing, riding, golf or just walking through some of the finest landscapes in the world.
Walking in West Cornwall is unbeatable. The South West Coastal Footpath runs through the heather and gorse of the cliff tops for a spectacular 130 miles. In and out of exquisite coastal valleys, rocky coves, past virgin beaches, and through charming towns and villages. Away from the coast, West Cornwall has a superb network of footpaths that cross exhilarating moorland, follow ancient field paths, wind through cool woodland glades to tiny hamlets and churches, with the pleasures of a wonderful old inn or pub along the way.
West Cornwall offers a number of longer walking routes with special themes. The new Cornish Way cycle route wheels its way from Truro to Land’s End on a route planned with cyclists in mind. For the horse riding enthusiast West Cornwall has miles of rideable tracks and there are numerous riding stables and trekking centres catering for all levels of skill.
West Cornwall has excellent facilities for the ‘outdoor’ sports of golf, tennis and bowling. There are tennis courts and bowling greens in all the sizeable towns and there are golf courses of unique character at Cape Cornwall, Lelant, Helston, Falmouth, Truro, Mullion, Perranporth, Praa Sands, and Tehidy Park.
You can relax on the sun-soaked sands of St Ives, Sennen and Porthcurno with sparkling, crystal clear water foaming on to the shoreline or, if watersports appeal, then you can ride the rolling Atlantic swells with surfboard, bodyboard or sailboard on the famous surf beaches of Porthmeor at St Ives or Gwenver at Sennen. |
