Bed and Breakfast Description

Illshaw Heath Farm is a beautiful 300-year-old working farm set on 120 acres in the small village of Hockley Heath. Whether you're in the area for business or leisure, our bed and breakfast combines the convenience of the nearby city with the quaint charm of rural English life.

While here, you might want to wash your troubles away in the hot tub located conveniently and privately at the rear of the main house. If you decide to venture out a bit further, Illshaw Heath Farm is located near many West Midlands historic sites and attractions.

We have five en-suite bedrooms available: one room with one double bed and four rooms with two single beds. Each room contains tea and coffee facilities, an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a colour television.

Stratford-Upon-Avon Canal Walking Routes

The canal is crossed by two long distance walks: the Heart of England Way and Monarch's Way. But the 26-mile towpath through rural Warwickshire is an fabulous walk in itself. You can join at most bridges and walk for as long or short a time as you wish. Use the route from Mary Arden's House at Wilmcote to a country pub, or take a short diversion from the towpath to Earlswood Lakes for the flora and fauna.

The waterway meets the Grand Union Canal at Kingswood Junction. Walks in this area include the Junction Circuit (2 miles), Lapworth Locks (two-thirds of a mile), Big House Walk (5 miles), and the Junction Mini-Circuit (half a mile). Details are available from the British Waterways office at the junction.

Illshaw Heath Farm is located on Kineton Lane in Hockley Heath, Solihull, West Midlands, England. From the M42, take the A3400 toward Stratford. At the first roundabout, turn right onto Kineton Lane. Illshaw Heath Farm is approximately one (1) mile down Kineton Lane on the left. It is marked with a B&B sign.
