Bed and Breakfast Description

A large comfortable family house set in extensive grounds in a secluded lane enjoying delightful views over the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside.

Broomhill is a non- smoking house, children are welcome. Each room contains tea and coffee making facilities, T.V and WIFI. There is ample parking. Swimming, tennis and golf are located nearby. Within walking distance there are two country pubs - both serving good evening meals.

Local Attractions

Broomhill is ideally situated close to the A34. Oxford, with its many colleges comprising the university, is a wonderful place to explore and has a large number of excellent restaurants. Together with its cultural background it makes an ideal start to a short break taking in perhaps Stratford or the Cotswolds.

From the East (from London direction)
Get off M40 at Junction 8 and drive to the first main roundabout on the outskirts of Oxford with Macdonalds on your left. Turn left onto the ring road. Continue on the ring road passing Big Yellow on your left & then Oxford retail park on your left. Continue on ring road in the direction of the A34 therefore keeping Oxford on your right. When arriving at traffic lights approaching A34, do NOT go on A34 - go over the top and up Hinksey Hill. At top of hill bear right to Boars Hill. Continue along this road for 1.1 miles and Lincombe Lane is on your left. (if you arrive at Fox Pub on your right, you’ve gone a bit too far). Continue down to the end of the MAIN lane - do not branch off) and Broomhill 3 up from the bottom on the right hand side. The sign is just after the entrance in the beech hedge.

From the West:
After A420 take the A34 southbound. Leave the A34 where sign posted to Cowley, Henley and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A4183/Hinksey Hill. At top of hill bear right to Boars Hill. Continue along this road for 1.1 miles and Lincombe Lane is on your left. (if you arrive at Fox Pub on your right, you’ve gone a bit too far). Continue down to the end of the MAIN lane - do not branch off) and Broomhill 3 up from the bottom on the right hand side. The sign is just after the entrance in the beech hedge.

From the south:
Exit A34 after Abingdon at Hinksey Hill Interchange signed Ring Road, Oxford, A4144. Keep left and continue up Hinksey Hill towards Wooton/Boars Hill. At top of hill bear right to Boars Hill. Continue along this road for 1.1 miles and Lincombe Lane is on your left. (if you arrive at Fox Pub on your right, you’ve gone a bit too far). Continue down to the end of the MAIN lane - do not branch off) and Broomhill 3 up from the bottom on the right hand side. The sign is just after the entrance in the beech hedge.
