Mead Lodge is a privately owned and run B&B that has been thoughtfully redesigned in a contemporary style to ensure that your stay with us is a more relaxing and comfortable experience. At Mead Lodge we cater for all,from a single business person to a small adult family (please ask for our child age policy).
We have some rather stylish bedrooms at Mead Lodge, configured to provide singles,doubles and twins.
All rooms have central heating and a private en-suite shower room with W.C., softened water and fresh fluffy towels and bath sheets... Two choices of shower gel and shampoo etc. are also available as standard.
The complementary tray has various tea’s, coffee, cappuccino,latte, drinking chocolate and bottled mineral water as well as some rather tasty crumbles and other biscuits.
There is also a telephone in each room which is able to take inbound calls and can be set to give you that early morning call if needed.
All rooms have Radio and LCD TV with all Freeview channels available.
For those warm summer nights, a fan is available upon request as is an iron, ironing board and DVD player, and each room also has a hairdryer.
Spare blankets and pillows (non allergenic) are stored in each room and a quilt will be available upon request.
At Mead Lodge, we provide a delicious full breakfast served in our communal dining room open to the kitchen where guests can sit and chat, read a paper or watch the news whilst we cook your breakfast to order.
From the Breakfast Bar we have fresh juices,fruit compotes,fresh white,pink or red grapefruit (your choice) which can be drizzled in rich Italian honey,yogurts,branded cereals,fresh fruit and honey.
Followed by: Eggs however you like them cooked on brown or white toast.Cheese or Beans on toast and Boiled egg and toast or bread.
We also have a specials menu that includes:Full English,smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and some very tasty Kippers cooked in butter or however you like them...enjoy!
