Bed and Breakfast Description
The farm has been in the Tully family for over 60 years. Currently run by Richard & Jean Tully, this working farm not only offers accommodation, but also produces a milking herd of Holstein Friesans. The Farm has over 300 acres of arable land producing Wheat, Barley, Maize & Oats. Harvesting of the crops begins around mid July through to mid October. The Farmhouse offers comfortable & friendly accommodation, where children are welcome. All rooms have: * Tea/Coffee making facilities * Colour T.V's * Countryside Views * Hairdryers are available * Ample Parking * Cream Teas available on request * Garden seating and views. ALL amenities are within easy reach. We have quiet countryside views, centrally located between Brixham, Paignton and Totnes. The farm has been in the Tully family for over 60 years. Local Attractions
Quiet country Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Fish and Chips all within close range. The villages of Stoke Gabriel with its quaint church and Mill pond in one direction and Galmpton with its olde world pub in the other. For the energetic within walking distance. A Countryside oasis on the urban fringes. All the local amenties including shops cinema, local blue flag beaches of Broadsands and Goodrington with its Water Park, Go Karts, Crazy Golf within a 5 minute car drive.Also the local Steam Railway and River Dart Trips from Totnes or Kingswear. We are within very easy reach of Galmpton Creek Boatyard, therefore yachtsman/crew/workforce etc are welcome here. 15-20 mins from the main shopping and harbours of Torquay. 5 mins from the picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel. Situated close to Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie Greenway: Transport to Greenway House and Gardens could be provided by prior arrangement.
