Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. We have on-site parking. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have TV.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

We are fully non-smoking and all our guest rooms are en-suite, tastefully decorated and with modern conveniences; colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and radio alarm clocks. We welcome families and accept all major credit/debit cards.

We offer a full English breakfast, vegetarian and lighter options. We are also happy to cater for special diets.

 

Paignton Attractions

 
Paignton has several beautiful sandy beaches, a Victorian Pier and working harbour. Local attractions include the ever popular Paignton Zoo with a new crocodile and reptile house for 2008. If you are nostalgic for the golden age of steam then take a trip on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway. For the younger generation, Quaywest Waterpark is the ideal place to keep cool on a hot Summer day.

The main Torbay bus route passes within 100 yards of the hotel offering easy access to the neighbouring towns of Torquay and Brixham. Torquay offers a fun shopping experience, a lively cafe culture and plentiful nightlife. Torquay attractions include the Living Coasts Marine Zoo, Kent's Cavern and Bygones. New for 2008 are the HiFlyer tethered balloon and the newly reopened Torre Abbey. Brixham is one of the few remaining active fishing ports in the South West and the lively harbour is the base for popular boat and fishing trips.
 

B&B Location
 
From Exeter (and the North and East):
-Take the M5 southbound which becomes the A38 when the motorway ends.
-Continue and when the road splits take the A380 (signposted Torquay).
-Continue on the A380 for about 20 miles until you reach the traffic lights and roundabout at the Penn Inn.
-Continue straight ahead on the A380 until you reach the Kerswell Gardens roundabout.
-At the Kerswell Gardens roundabout turn right up the hill (still A380 - signposted Paignton and Brixham).
-Follow the Torbay ringroad and at the third roundabout turn left into Marldon Road (B3060 - signposted Preston Sands).
-Follow Marldon Road down until you reach the T-junction with the Torquay Road (traffic lights) and then turn left (signposted Torquay).
-Continue towards Torquay and 200 yards past the Half Moon pub turn right at the traffic lights into Manor Road.
-Strawberry Fair is about 100 yards down on the left.

From Plymouth (and the West):
-Take the A38 eastbound.
-Turn onto the A385 to Totnes.
-Continue through Totnes (still A385 - signposted Paignton).
-Continue on the A385 into Paignton which becomes the A3022 Torquay Road.
-Continue through the centre of Paignton following signs for Torquay.
-Continue on the Torquay Road and 200 yards past the Half Moon pub turn right at the traffic lights into Manor Road.
-Strawberry Fair is about 100 yards down on the left.
