Like many old buildings it has settled a bit and you will fail to find any walls or floors which are straight or corners which are perfectly square. For many of our guests this is part of its charm.
The décor sympathetically combines many original features with bright, tasteful colours and period furniture. Each room has a television, hair-drier, tea/coffee making facilities and either en-suite or private bath/shower room. Double, twin or single rooms are available. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Packed lunches are available on request and we offer a kit transfer service for walkers. We are a non-smoking establishment.

We offer a four-course breakfast in our dining-room where a large selection of books and magazines (many of them about Exmoor) are available for our guests to peruse. Outside we have a terrace where guests may wish to relax, surrounded by plants, and enjoy the sights and sound of the river.
