Bed and Breakfast Description

The hotel has comfortable spacious bedrooms, 6 en-suite, and all rooms are individually styled, some with antiques.

The house and restaurant are decorated throughout in a modern style, but with a traditional ambience. All our comfortable bedrooms are en-suite with newly fitted bathrooms. Some are twins and some with King and Super kingsize beds, all with free wi-fi broadband and complimentary Sherry, tea and coffee.

Our beautiful garden, full of scents, birds and colours, will help you to relax at lunch and in the afternoons. We will be delighted to spoil you with a Devon cream tea or you may prefer to choose from our small - but delicious -range of Spanish tapas.

Local Attractions
There are many outdoor pursuits to be enjoyed in the area, including river and sea fishing, horse riding, boat trips and bird watching. Also available nearby are tennis, bowls, golf and putting.

St. Vincent House And Restaurant is situated in Lynton near Exmoor, which overlooks a charming stretch of the Devon coast where the River Lyn meets the sea at Lynmouth harbour. This is an area of the beautiful Exmoor National Park known as "Little Switzerland". Nearby is the rugged, but equally inspiring and unique landscape of the Valley of Rocks. Lynton and Lynmouth are connected by a water-powered cliff railway built by the Victorians, only a short stroll from the hotel.

Exmoor and North Devon is the perfect area for a walking or cycling holiday. The coastal path runs through Lynton and Lynmouth enabling you to plan your days out, starting with a great breakfast and ending with a fantastic meal at the St. Vincent, we can even pack you a lunch if you require it.
 

B&B Location
Travelling from the M5 Motorway Exit the motorway at Junction 27 - midway between Taunton and Exeter - Join the A361 (signposted Barnstaple). After South Molton join the B3227 (signposted Simonsbath), shortly after join the A399 (signposted Blackmoor Gate) and finally join the A39 (signposted Lynton).

Travelling from the South (Barnstaple) follow the A39 until Barbrook petrol station then take the left fork toward Lynton and you arrive at Lynmouth Hill, where you take the second fork left into Castle Hill.

Travelling from the West (Minehead) follow the A39 as it enters Lynmouth but just before it loops back out of town take the right turning (signposted Lynton) and climb Lynmouth Hill, at the summit turn right into Castle Hill.
