You will be staying in a Grade II listed 11-bedroom guest house that offers comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms, a satisfying breakfast to please all tastes, and a pleasant and quiet environment for guests that are non-smokers who are not travelling with young children (under 5) or pets.

Bedrooms at the Rainbow Lodge have the high ceilings and very solid outer walls typical of early 19th century building (The building is mentioned in the 1841 census and was almost certainly standing 10 years earlier when Darwin left Plymouth for the Galapagos Islands).

Within this secure space, we have organised things carefully. Your bed will have a mattress that is on the firm side, intended to provide you with a comfortable and healthy sleep.

All rooms have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

7 of our rooms are en-suite and one of the remainder is a single with its own dedicated shower room and toilet.
