Ty'n y Wern, (House in the Meadow), is just outside the picturesque market town of Llangollen, set in some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in North Wales, and is ideally situated as a touring base for North and Mid Wales, including the Borderlands, with many attractions within easy travelling distance.
Ty'n y Wern is set in its own grounds of extensive lawned areas with well tended flower beds and trees, and has ample car parking space, providing the ideal setting for you, whether you wish to just relax and enjoy the surroundings, or have a more energetic sight-seeing break in the splendour of North Wales.
The traveller, en-route to destinations further into North Wales, or touring this beautiful area may experience the restful charm of the old farm house combined with the highest standards of modern comfort. All modernisation has been completed with taste and sympathetic regard to the character and atmosphere of the old building to give each guest the best of both worlds.
The present owners, Christine and Richard Tomlinson, after purchasing Ty'n y Wern in September 2002, continued the progressive improvements in quality, facilities and service, and are now pleased to present a combination of first class accommodation and excellent service which has been awarded five star grading by VisitWales.
We have five double bedrooms, three single bedrooms, and two twin bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated and equipped to the same high standard, having fully en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower. All have remote control colour television with tele-text and video-player, clock/alarm radio with CD player, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. |
