B&B Location

From Sheffield or Chesterfield

take the A619 out of Baslow towards Bakewell. Just past the left turn to Chatsworth House, take the next right turn (A6020) towards Ashford-in-the-Water. Passing the right turn to Ashford-in-the-Water village, proceed to the T junction (A6) directly ahead of you and turn right towards Buxton. On your left some 700 metres along the A6 you will see a turning to Sheldon. This is the point at which to start making a right turn signal because River Cottage is situated on the corner of the next turning to the right.

From Bakewell

proceed along the A6 towards Buxton. To your right you will pass a turning to Sheffield, Chesterfield and Ashford-in-the-Water (A619) and then to your left a smaller turning to Sheldon. This is the point at which to start making a right turn signal because River Cottage is situated on the corner of the next turning to the right.

From Buxton

proceed along the A6 towards Bakewell. After approximately 8 miles you will see a sign-post on your left to Ashford-in-the-Water; take this turning. (N.B. the turning appears immediately after a blue Police helicopter speed enforcement sign to your right.)
