You will find a warm welcome awaits you at Stonecroft, our second generation family run guest house in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. The setting of our charming house never ceases to appeal and we are lucky enough to be situated in the beautiful and historic hamlets of Edale.

The house is Victorian in style although it was built using local Derbyshire stone in the early 1900's. It still features the original stained glass windows and other features from that period. Many of the heathers in the garden were planted when the house was first built and nothing can be more relaxing than afternoon tea during the summer taken in the garden where an air of peace and tranquility abounds.

Awake to birdsong and stunning views, with sheep or cows often grazing peacefully in the fields surrounding the house, then relax in the period dining room over a traditional country house breakfast with homemade bread and preserves and a varied menu.

All bedrooms have beautiful views and either private or en-suite facilities. They have a clock radio, dressing gowns and beverage tray, as well as those little extras to show that we really care about the comfort of our guests including complimentary fruit bowls and chocolates. (your host is both vegetarian and on a gluten free diet).
