Description

Hermitage Court Farm is the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern living and relax in the tranquillity of the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside.

Located on the south side of the Isle of Wight and nestled on St Catherines Down, Hermitage Court Farm enjoys spectacular views of the English countryside.

The farm is set in 10 acres of down-land bordering onto National Trust land and has direct access to over 100 miles of the finest footpaths and mountain bike trails in the country.

A haven for wildlife of many types. Badgers, Red Squirrels and Foxes to name just a few.

We are the most secluded bed and breakfast on the Isle of Wight and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Isle of Wight.

The St Catherines' Suite is bright and spacious with a choice of either Super King Size bed or Twin Single beds. You will enjoy views over St Catherines' Down and the gardens. En Suite facilities include full size bath with shower over.

The Stenbury Room enjoys unrivalled outstanding panoramic views of the Island countryside. A luxury King Size brass bed awaits you in the light and spacious Stenbury Room. En Suite facilities include power shower

Breakfast is served in the privacy of your room at a time to suit you. Where possible all ingredients are sourced locally with quality in mind.

Individual dietary requirements will be accommodated with prior notification.

Toiletries, Bathrobes and Luxury Towels supplied in your Bathroom for your extra comfort.

Local Attractions
The nearby picturesque village of Godshill is famous for its cream teas, thatched Pubs and Restaurants. The coastal towns of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor with their glorious beaches and cliff walks are just a short drive away.
 

Location
Directions to Hermitage Court Farm from Fishbourne:-
Turn right out of terminal. Turn right at traffic lights and follow signs to Newport. At Newport keep to left on one-way system and take road signposted for Sandown. After nearly 2 miles take turning on right signposted Godshill. After 3.5 miles, at Godhill, turn right into West St towards Whitwell. After 300 yards turn right into Beacon Alley. At second cross roads (Leechmore) turn left towards Niton.Stay on this road for about 1 mile until you see signpost for Hermitage (Shiny Bricks Lane). Turn right here and follow road to T-Junction. Turn left. At end of road turn right up 'Private' road. Continue uphill - road is bumpy - watch out for badgers at night - until road levels, then take the right fork past the Hermitage Country House, through the woods until you come to the white gates, signposted Downcourt Manor and Hermitage Court Farm. Go through the gates and Hermitage Court Farm is 1/2 mile on the right. We are the red tiled farmhouse on the right hand side.

Directions to Hermitage Court Farm from Yarmouth:-
At roundabout turn right over bridge towards Totland and Freshwater. After nearly 3 miles turn left to Freshwater (A3055). Stay on this road through Freshwater and along the coastal road for about 10 miles until you come to Chale. Turn left at Chale church on B3399 through Chale Green for about 3 miles until you come to the main crossroads. Turn right then, after half a mile, turn right at signpost marked Hermitage (Shiny Bricks Lane). Follow road to T junction. Turn left. At end of road turn right up 'Private' road.
