The Roseleigh Guest House, Buxton (previously named the Roseleigh Hotel, Buxton) in the centre of Buxton, Derbyshire, is an award winning 4 star establishment offering bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation. We are ideally placed for exploring the Peak District National Park and Derbyshire Dales.

Close to Buxton Opera House The Roseleigh Guest House is a family-run establishment offering comfortable and stylish accommodation. The owners are seasoned tour leaders and more than able to offer helpful advice about outdoor activities - walking, cycling, climbing etc. across Derbyshire, Staffordshire and the Peak District.

It overlooks the lake set in the 23-acre Pavilion Gardens in the centre of Buxton. It is a non smoking establishment and has its own private car park.

The Roseleigh is pleasantly situated on a quiet pedestrian walk. Within a five minute walk is Buxton Opera House which hosts the annual Buxton Opera Festival and the Gilbert and Sullivan Festival.

This high quality Guest House offers relaxing and great value accommodation and the many attractions of the Peak District are within easy reach, as is Alton Towers, so consider the many activities on offer, then contact us.

 

Buxton Attractions

 
Within a five minute walk is the impressive architecture of the Georgian Crescent, built in the 1780s and one of the highlights of the centre of Buxton - it is one of the finest Georgian buildings in the country.

Close by is the Opera House, built by Frank Matcham in 1904. It is one of the most beautiful Opera houses in the world and has marvellous acoustics.

The Opera House hosts the annual Buxton Opera Festival and an annual Gilbert and Sullivan Festival as well as many other theatrical productions.

The town of Buxton has an excellent selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes.

The Sun Inn is one of the most characterful of the local pubs and lies just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.
