Bed and Breakfast Description
|
|
Welcome to Nineveh Farm B&B - a delightful country farmhouse in the north Cotswolds offering luxury B&B accommodation - perfectly located for touring the best of the Cotswolds villages of Chipping Campden, Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and the Slaughters, and for visiting Shakespeare country, Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace.
Nineveh Farm B&B, no longer a working farm, is set in one and a half acres of gardens and meadow and is a short walk from the village of Mickleton with several inns and a restaurant offering evening meals. Winner of the Bledisloe Cup in 2005 for the 'Best Kept Village' in Gloucestershire (larger village category) and the Bledisloe Plate in 2006, the church spire of Mickleton may be seen from many miles around.
Chipping Campden, about three miles away, boasts a multitude of restaurants with varied menus to suit most tastes.
Bedrooms are equipped with hair-dryers, hot-water bottles, courtesy trays, televisions, radio alarm clocks, plus en-suite or private facilities.
Oak beams, flagstone floors, antique furnishings and log fires in winter ensure a warm and cosy atmosphere. A sitting room is available for the use of guests.
There is ample parking for seven cars.
Accommodation is provided in the main farmhouse or in the garden annexe:
The farmhouse has two double rooms on the first floor and a twin bedroom on the ground floor.
The annexe, a former youth hostel, has been completely refurbished to provide two double rooms (both ground floor), though one of these can be prepared as a twin bedroom, if preferred. Both have French windows opening onto the garden, meadow and picnic area.
