We are located in the leafy suburb of Jesmond which is a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Newcastle University is just five minutes walk from here. There is on street parking available. There is a park opposite, Brandling Park and there are several pubs and numerous good restaurants within walking distance.
Breakfast is Served from 0730 until 0900 Monday to Friday, and from 0800 until 0930 on Saturdays Sundays and Public Holidays.
We have a mixture of single, twin, double and family rooms, some with en-suite facilities. We have one ground floor room, without a bathroom.
All rooms have colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. We offer a full english breakfast.
We can supply a hair dryer an iron and ironing board should they be required. Continental adapters are also available for your own appliances.
We are open all year round except for Christmas and New Year. |

Gateshead is on the south bank of the River Tyne and has many cultural attractions, which are famous throughout the world.
With Britain's largest sculpture - the Angel of the North, the first tilting bridge - the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, and the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art - Gateshead is fast becoming one of the biggest cultural quarters in the country.
Shoppers head to Europe's largest indoor shopping mall - MetroCentre Gateshead and visitors can see some of the best events in the sporting calendar, including the Great North Run.
Gateshead is home to miles of open and easily accessible countryside, parks and gardens and holds some of the best horticultural shows including Gateshead Flower Show. |

From the A1 follow the A167 into Newcastle. Follow signs for A1058, Jesmond. At the traffic lights turn left into B1600 Osborne Road. Take the next left onto Clayton Road. Turn left onto Brandling Park.

By Rail
Newcastle Central Station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute metro ride from the Brandling Guest House.
Tyne and Wear Metro
The nearest Metro station is Jesmond, a 5 minute walk to the Brandling Guest House. The metro offers regular links between Newcastle, Gateshead, The Coast, Newcastle Airport and Sunderland.
