The AA 5 Star guest house offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation with many extra touches that make your visit one to remember.

Breakfast is served in our dining room that overlooks the lake.
We use only the best local produce and the choice on our menu is second to none. Nobody leaves hungry.

If you are going out for the day we will be delighted to provide you with a hearty packed lunch.

Our lounge overlooks the lake and is ideal for relaxing with a book and a drink. We do have a liquor licence. (Phew! thats a relief I hear you say).
There are maps, games and plenty of reading material to help you idle away the time or plan your days' activity.

There is off street parking for up to 14 cars.

Our bedrooms are individually designed and offer high levels of comfort. Many regular guests have their favourite whether its a double or superior room.

All rooms are en-suite and several have a bath and shower. Most have excellent lake views.

They are all fitted with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, radio clock alarms, hair drier, iron and ironing boards.
For your added enjoyment all our rooms have a video player and we have a complimentary video library with hundreds of films to choose from.

We have a number of Superior rooms that are available, but we recommend you book early because they tend to go very quickly.

Local Attractions

In and around Bowness there is an abundance of things to do. During the day you can visit the Beatrix Potter Exhibition and The Old laundry Theatre or why not go out on the lake itself on one of the various types of boats available for hire or go on a Windermere Lake Cruise. Later, you can visit the Steamboat Museum.

A short stroll from the guest house will take you to the many restaurants, shops and bars in the town.
Being in the Lake District National Park there are many areas of outstanding natural beauty that can be explored on foot or via transport. Where ever you choose to go there is not a more central base than Bowness on Windermere.

We are able to arrange golf, horse riding, cycle hire, fishing, water skiing or off road motor sports.
Danny is always happy to play tennis with anybody who wants a game. (Is that a challenge or what?)
