Bed and Breakfast Description
We have become extremely popular with the 'Walkers of the Wall' as we are the first stop over point from Wallsend (16 miles) next to Heddon on the Wall for the next pick up point of the wall. Our walkers love the luxury of the Jacuzzi after a hard days walking. We welcome and are fully equipped for babies. Enjoy the genuine hospitality from a family run business.



Local Attractions
We are ideally situated 1 minute from the A1 motorway. Newcastle Airport 4 miles, City Centre 3 miles and 2 miles to Gateshead Metrocentre for that all day free parking and shopping 'til you drop or bus it outside the door. Just sixteen miles up the A69 we have the lovely town of Hexham and the historic Hadrians Roman Wall. Within easy reach of the beautiful Northumbrian countryside taking in the village of Alnwick with the famous Water Gardens. Visit the castles of Warkworth and Bamburgh, the fishing villages of Amble and Seahouses where you can take a boat to the Farne Islands. Cross the Causeway to Holy Island, the home of the Venerable Bede. Ten minutes south on the A1 motorway is the Land of Bishops, Durham City with the Cathedral and University.
