Description

The Old Manse is a characterful, period guest house, quietly tucked away in a historic part of Seahouses on Northumberland's beautiful coast. Excellent accommodation in Seahouses and a perfect base for a Northumbrian holiday. We have a 4 Star rating. Our comfortable en-suite guest rooms offer a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation. Off-road parking is available and wi-fi internet access can be provided. German and Polish languages are also spoken. A friendly welcome awaits you.

In addition to the usual breakfast items, we offer a traditional English cooked breakfast and, wherever possible, use locally sourced produce, including the renowned 'Bamburgh Banger' from Carter's butchers in Bamburgh.

We have three bedrooms, which comprise of one double and two twin/family rooms. A ground floor room is available.

All guest rooms are en-suite and contain:
Tea and coffee making facilities; digital TV; hair dryer.

Local Attractions
The Old Manse Guest House is within walking distance of Northumberland's beautiful, unspoilt beaches. It is only a short drive to many spectacular castles such as Bamburgh, and Alnwick, with its impressive gardens and fountains. Regular boat trips take you from the harbour to the Farne Islands nature reserve. We are also close to Holy Island (Lindisfarne), the Northumberland National Park and the Cheviot Hills. Nature lovers, walkers, cyclists, golfers and sea sport enthusiasts will all enjoy this area and there is no shortage of nearby attractions to suit all tastes.

As a guest of the Old Manse you can make use of our corporate membership to the private Ocean Club in Seahouses. The leisure club is only open to members and not to the general public. Ideal for a relaxing swim or a luxurious pampering session in the health & beauty suite.

Outdoor Activites ...

We are happy to provide information on a range of outdoor activites. The local area is simply ideal for many pursuits, including walking, cycling, golf, fishing and horse riding.

Horse Riding
There is a riding centre just around the corner from our guest house, which offers treks and lessons for both novice and experienced riders. Their most popular treks are of course the beach rides.

Cycling
A bicycle hire facility is located just past the end of our street.
