Description

Edwardian House Bed and Breakfast is an elegant Edwardian Guest House which is very well furnished in keeping with the period of the property. All rooms are non-smoking but outdoor seating areas are available in the rear courtyard.

All rooms have:

Tea and coffee making facilities
Complimentary toileteries
Hair dryers
Bathrobes
Colour TV and DVD player - we have a small selection of DVDs available to watch free of charge on request

Local Attractions
We are ideally situated for coastal walks and we are not far from the Pennine Way, the North Yorkshire Moors, and Roseberry Topping. Historic Whitby is also nearby. Walking routes can be provided on request.

We are within walking distance of the beach, town centre, racecourse, golf course, and wildlife sancturary. South Gare Lighthouse is popular for fishing, seal watching and scuba diving, and Saltburn is approximately 6 miles away where it is possible to hire surfing equipment. Another popular destination is the Tees Barrage which has riverside walks and also white water rafting, canoeing, water skiing etc...

Ormesby Hall, Nature's World, and Kirkleatham Museum And Owl Sancturary are all worth a visit, and Hartlepool Marina and Mariners Museum are not to be missed.
 

Location
Redcar Central Railway Station is 4 mins walk, and Durham Tees Valley Airport (formely Teesside Airport) is approximately 18 miles away. We also have excellent road links to the A19 and A66.

From the A19, take the Redcar exit onto the A174 and approach Redcar via Kirkleatham Lane. Go straight on at the traffic lights, over the humpback bridge, and straight on at the roundabout, then turn right into High Street West.

From the A66, approach Redcar via the trunk road (A1085), turn left at the traffic lights, over the humpback bridge, across the roundabout, then turn right into High Street West.

Nearest Restaurant/Bistro: Many to choose from  (0.5  Miles)

Nearest Public House/Bar: The Cleveland and also The Lobster  (0  Miles)
