Bed and Breakfast Description

The Old School House, Mordington, just 3 minutes from the A1 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, offers comfortable and stylish bed and breakfast accommodation in a traditional Scottish family home, which is set in a lovely country only metres from the Scottish/English border.

We have two bedrooms. The larger bedroom is a family room with its own TV and bathroom that sleeps up to 4, but which can also be used as a single or double. A separate single room is also available.

Other facilities available to our guests include a lovely sitting room, established garden and parking. Dinner can be arranged on request and transport to/from the railway station at Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Local Attractions
Berwick-upon-Tweed and the Scottish Borders have much to offer.
 

B&B Location
Heading north on the A1:

Cross the River Tweed on the A1. After about 2 km turn left onto the A6105 signposted to Duns. Follow the A6105 for about 5 km and then turn right at the Scottish Border (just before the welcome to Scotland sign). The Old School House is the first house on the right, after about 150m, in the hamlet of Clappers.

Heading south on the A1:

After the roundabout north of Berwick-upon-Tweed (the first and only roundabout on the A1 route at Berwick) turn right onto the A6105 signposted to Duns. Follow the directions above.
