According to the house deeds, The White Rose was built in 1817 (during the reign of King George III) as a family home.
Now, nearly two hundred years later, the house has 5 well-equipped, very attractive en-suite bedrooms.
If you choose to stay at the White Rose - the delicious breakfasts, the comfortable bedrooms, the hospitality and, of course, the beautiful countryside should make your trip to the Lakes truly memorable!
At the White Rose, there are five very pretty en-suite bedrooms:
Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 5 are all en-suite double-bedded rooms.
Bedroom 3 is our newly refurbished superior double bedroom.
It is the largest double bedroom at the White Rose and as well as its en-suite facilities, the bedroom has a sofa, a widescreen TV and DVD player, a hairdryer, alarm clock radio and tea and coffee making facilities.
Bedroom 4 has a double bed and a single bed and can be used as a large double bedroom, a twin bedroom or as a family bedroom for three guests.
Bedroom 4 can be used with Bedroom 5 to form our family suite of bedrooms on the second floor of the house.
Together, the bedrooms will sleep a family group of four or five people.
All the bedrooms have good quality fitted bedroom furniture as well as a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, and an alarm clock radio. |
