Located in Llanwrtyd Wells in the Secret Heart of Wales, New Hall is a 4 star licensed bed and breakfast on a quiet edge of the smallest town in Britain. A modern conversion of a church meeting hall, the accommodation is spacious and comfortable and all 4 double/twin rooms have large en suites and all facilities. The ground floor is totally wheelchair accessible, including a bedroom and en suite.
We offer high quality bed and breakfast and can provide delicious, home-cooked evening meals and packed lunches on request. With its large, guest lounge and adjoining dining room, New Hall is ideal for house parties, so, if you have a group of friends or family members with whom you would like to spend quality time then consider using New Hall as your base.

Use New Hall as a place to meet up with scattered family or friends, maybe workmates old and new, old college buddies or fellow hobbyists. Perhaps a themed weekend. The possibilities are endless and we’ll help you turn it into a reality.
New Hall is yours for a short break - 2, 3 or 4 nights. We have comfortable beds for a good night’s sleep, a welcoming guest lounge where you can relax, talk and play any time of the day or evening. The adjoining dining room is ideal for fun, friendly, informal suppers. The food is home cooking at its best and supported by the principles of sustainable tourism. Also we are licensed so can provide the odd tipple or two as required.

Llanwrtyd Wells is world famous for its ‘Green Events’ including Bog Snorkelling, the Man versus Horse Marathon and the Real Ale Wobble. It is also an ideal touring centre for the whole of Wales with Snowdonia, Cardiff and the coast all within reach for a day trip. Nearby, we have the Brecon Beacons, Rhayader and the Elan Valley and also the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Builth Wells, home of the Royal Welsh Showground, is less than 10 miles away and the local area regularly hosts National Motor Rally events. Finally, Llanwrtyd Wells is on the Heart of Wales Railway Line, which runs from Shrewsbury to Swansea through some of the most beautiful scenery in Wales.

Location

New Hall is located on the edge of Llanwrtyd Wells within 2 minutes flat walking distance of the town square. The town lies on the A483 between Builth wells and Llandovery and is approx 2 hours from the Severn Bridge and 2 hours from Birmingham and Cardiff. The town lies on the Heart of Wales Scenic Railway which runs between shrewsbury and Swansea - the station is less than 5 minutes walk and we would be happy to collect you if your luggage is cumbersome.
