Description

Our B&B is located in a very tranquil and picturesque location on the edge of the village of Trunch, UK. In our bed and breakfast we offer high quality accommodation and delicious breakfasts, with fresh local or homemade products. Sorry, but we don't offer evening meals. There are a few excellent pubs nor far from us.

The coast between Cromer and Sea Palling offers wonderful sandy and clean beaches with high cliffs and is probably amongst the less busy in the UK. Why not enjoy a relaxing break in our comfortable B&B? Bring your bikes along and explore the beautiful coast or the North Norfolk Broads along the protected quiet lanes. In the evening, have a delicious pub meal, and then experience a wonderful quiet sleep in our bed and breakfast.

We offer a choice of a suite, double, twin or single rooms and en suite or private bathroom facilities. Each room affords splendid views: to the historic village of Trunch; towards the coast across the fields; to the setting sun across the undulating landscape.
Tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and television are all available. Breakfast is served in the dining room until 9.30 a.m. You can choose between a full English, a fried Vegetarian or a Continental breakfast.

Local Attractions

North Norfolk offers so many things to do, just on the doorstep of our Bed and Breakfast: long walks along the coast, visiting North Norfolk National Trust Estates such as Blickling or Felbrigg Hall, exploring the fine medieval city of Norwich or the market towns of North Norfolk close by.

The Manor House in Trunch, North Norfolk, is ideally situated for visiting the beautiful Norfolk beaches, the Broads, the stately houses of Blickling, Felbrigg, Holkham, Mannington and Wolterton, as well as the wealth of wonderful hidden churches, the local market towns of North Walsham, Cromer, Wroxham and Aylsham, and of course the vibrant city of Norwich with its museums, cathedrals, art galleries, shops, theatres and market.

The Manor House itself is a beautifully restored period building in a semi-rural setting at the edge of the village, which hosts a Pub, a lovely church, a village shop and a Post office.

Location

By train

Most mainline services to Norwich link up to the Anglia Railways service to Sheringham (The Bittern Line). Midway along the route are the stations North Walsham and Gunton, both of which are ideal for reaching Trunch. By prior arrangement we can collect you from either station.

By Air

Norwich has an airport only 15 miles from Trunch. It has limited national connections, but has a shuttle service to Amsterdam for links globally through KLM. A budget solution is to fly to Stansted and proceed by train via Cambridge/Ely and Norwich.

Directions by Road

Leave Norwich on the B1150 to North Walsham. At North Walsham, turn left at the first set of traffic lights to follow signs to Mundesley B1145 . At the end of the village of Swafield do not take the right dog-leg to Mundesley, but go straight ahead to Trunch. In Trunch, pass the Church and turn left at the Social Club into Brewery Road. Just after the fish pond on the left hand side, turn right into a drive between the old farm barns, now converted into dwellings.

You will see the Manor House at the end in front of you.
