The area is home for many who are involved in the academic and business life of the University. Although Cotswold House is only 2 miles from the City Centre the atmosphere is both warm and country. Great attention is given to guest comfort. This cotswold stone house has been built and furnished to a standard rarely found today and is ideally positioned for easy access to Oxford City Centre and the Cotwolds, as well as for the excellent local Summertown restaurants, cafes and shops.

Local Attractions

Buses going into the city centre pass Cotswold House every 10 minutes. Blenheim Palace is only 15 minutes away by car. Coaches from the centre of Oxford leave every 20 minutes for London Victoria. By car Heathrow takes 45 minutes and 90 minutes to Gatwick. There is a coach from Heathrow every 30 minutes and Gatwick every 2 hours. Trains to London Paddington leave every hour.

Daily walking trips of Oxford and the colleges with experienced guides. Open top bus trips of the City. Visit museums, including the world renowned Ashmolean Botanical Gardens and Christ Church Meadow Magdalen College deer park Oxford Story in Broad street Punting on the River Thames and Cherwell Blenheim Palace at Woodstock Sir Winston Churchill's burial place at Bladon.
