Bed and Breakfast Description

Gilman Lodge is a large modern detached house with red brick and flint elevations, rebuilt in the 1990s from the former Vicarage and much extended. Approximately ¼ of an acre behind a large brick wall, it has extensive off-road secure parking for guests and a lockable store for cyclists. Resident owners Ian and Linda have run Guest Houses and Hotels in England and Scotland for 30 years.

All bedrooms are of high quality, each have TV/video/DVDs with 30 channel set-top boxes, radio/CD player alarm clocks, hospitality trays, bathrobes and arm chairs. All bedrooms are decorated in a similar style with high quality bedding, curtains and cherry wood units. We are totally no smoking to comply with new 2007 No Smoking Law.

Gilman Lodge has a large comfortable dining room with guest lounge area. We also pride ourselves on an extensive Breakfast menu, using fresh local produce. All diets catered for.
