Bed and Breakfast Description

Twitchers Retreat has its own well lit car park with a space per bedroom. We have a gravelled and paved area and drop off point with a ramp for easy access. Our Access Statement is available on request.

Walkers and cyclists are very welcome. We have secure and safe storage for bicycles and drying facilities for guests.

We also offer a Bicycle Hire service, which is a great way to explore the area.

Twitchers Retreat offers three luxury twin en-suite bedrooms, one ground floor with facilities for the less able-bodied and two first floors all with under-floor heating and hot water from our solar heating system. The ground floor is tiled throughout with Italian Terracotta tiles and has a beautiful ash staircase leading to the two first floor bedrooms which have oak floors. We offer a guest lounge with a wood burner and the use of our conservatory / dining room should you wish to eat in. All the food, linen and beds are of the highest quality.

Each luxurious guest room is individually decorated and furnished offering comfortable beds, high quality linen and accessories. The en-suite bathrooms provide soft fluffy towels and a full range of complimentary toiletries. Bath robes and slippers are supplied for guests staying for two or more nights. Each room has it's own comfortable settee offering comfort whilst relaxing watching television.

Twitchers Retreat offers a warm welcome and friendly, helpful hosts. Tea/coffee and cake are offered on arrival in the guest lounge or conservatory overlooking the delightful and tranquil garden with it's abundance of wildlife and large pond or weather permitting in the garden.

Local Attractions
Snettisham is an ideal base for discovering the joys of Norfolk. Royal Sandringham and the Holkham Estate are close by, whilst a drive along the coast will take you to little villages with their picturesque quays and wonderful inns.

Bird watchers and nature lovers are spoilt for choice with the RSPB reserves at Titchwell and our own reserve a few minutes walk away.

Snettisham is four miles from the seaside resort of Hunstanton with beautiful beaches, sea front and shops and of course the Princess Theatre that hosts a variety of shows during the year, and don't forget the Sea-Life Sanctuary.

Walk along the beach to the RSPB nature reserve.

Enjoy local walks including Peddars Way and the cliffs at Hunstanton.

Cycle and enjoy the little villages nestling along the coast road.

Play golf at Hunstanton and other local clubs.

Visit the Norfolk Lavender Mill and shop at nearby Heacham.

Sailing at Hunstanton and Snettisham sailing clubs.

Water sports.

Local fishing.

Horse riding at Snettisham Park Farm.

Enjoy Hunstanton and Cromer theatres.

Sample the crabs and shellfish at the many eating establishments
and quaint village pubs in the area.
 

B&B Location
From Kings Lynn take the A149 towards Hunstanton.

Along the Snettisham by-pass there is a sign on the left to Snettisham Beach and the RSPB reserve.

Follow this road until you come to the 30mph speed limit and we are the third property on the right hand side of the road. It has a large sign advertising the B & B with owls sitting on the top and a colourful wheelbarrow filled with seasonal flowers.
