Situated in the countryside by a small working farm yet only 10 minutes drive from the town of Dumfries, Cowans Farm Guest House offers holiday accommodation and total peace and tranquility to its visitors.

Cowans Guest House is a traditional farmhouse situated on the edge of the delightful village of Kirkgunzeon ( Kir` gun` ion ) in a natural sheltered landscape. Unspoiled panoramic views are the visitors first impression of what is a truly unspoiled location.

Cowans Farm Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, being slightly bigger than the normal Guest House we can accommodate up to 17 people if the bed combinations suit your needs. Additional beds can sometimes be available in the farmhouse next door for groups of 17 plus.

Our spacious en-suite (shower) Family Room holds a double bed and 2 single beds and is situated in the main Guest House.

Adjoining the main house we have a converted barn which hosts the following rooms:
- 3 Double or Twin Rooms
- 1 Twin Room
- 1 Single Room

All these rooms are at Ground Level and are en-suite (shower). The rooms are double-glazed and heated and overlook the gardens and fishing loch.
