Bed and Breakfast Description

Very popular former home of the famous Victorian artist and poet, Edward Lear. The perfect place to go back to after a busy day in London. We guarantee you'll always be met with a smile that's genuine, and, if you need help with finding your way around London, booking theatre tickets, checking on train times, etc. we'll always be glad to assist.

Each room has free satellite film and sports channels, tea/coffee, direct-dial phone, etc. As an extra benefit for our guests we now have a computer in one of the guest lounges with FREE email access for guests to keep in touch with friends and family while away from home.

Local Attractions
Only 50 yds. to Oxford Street, London's main shopping street, and within walking distance of the theatre district and main tourist spots.
 

B&B Location
We are located close to London's attractions, and across the road from Hyde Park

From Heathrow:
Take the non-stop Heathrow Express train straight into Paddington Station, leaves every 15minutes (journey time approximately 15 minutes) and costs £14.50. Children up to 15yrs are £6.70. From Paddington Station take a 5 minute taxi ride to the hotel - approximately £6

Gatwick:
By Rail - Take the Gatwick Express train direct from the airport to Victoria Station. It leaves about every 15 minutes and costs £14. The trip takes about 30 minutes to reach Victoria Station and then take a taxi (about 10–15 minutes £9).

From the Tube:
Take a print of our local map with you. Just turn left out of the station and walk along Oxford Street for about 20 yards and turn left at the KFC. Walk up Old Quebec Street and we're opposite the end of that street, about 100 yards from the station.
