Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Ty'r Cae is a mile outside Brechfa village in the heart of the Brechfa forest. The house, set back from the road surrounded by farmland and woods, enjoys spectacular views over the broad Cothi valley. The self-contained accommodation is spacious and comfortable and offers peace and privacy.

Brechfa Forest (18,000 acres), with deep stream valleys, waterfalls and amazing views was originally a medieval hunting ground but is now managed by the Forestry Commission and is excellent for horse riding, mountain biking and walking.

The historic towns of Carmarthen and Llandeilo are both within ten miles and offer a variety of shops and restaurants.

Brechfa is on the B4310 some 10 miles north east of Carmarthen.

From the east: leave the A48 at the junction for the National Botanic Garden and follow the B4310 to Nantgaredig and then on to Brechfa. Go through the village and on for one mile. Ty'r Cae is the white house on the right hand side of the road.

From Carmarthen take the A40 towards Llandeilo and take the B4310 to Brechfa at Nantgaredig.
