A warm welcome to all. Holtwood was built as a luxury family home on the edge of the National Park. An ideal spot to explore the countryside of South Wales and all its attractions. Ystradgynlais is just 1/2 amile away and offers pubs,restaurants,banks,post office etc.
We are 17miles from Swansea 7miles from Neath and with easy access to the M4.
Maybe its just peace and quiet you desire, we have a comfortable private guest sitting room for you to listen to music,read or watch tv. Our guests are free to come and go as they please and a key can be provided if required.
A newly constructed house it offers all the comfort and facilities you would expect. Plenty of on site parking. Light airy rooms of equal size, all en-suite. There are tea/coffee making facilities in each room along with TV,clock radio,hairdryer,electronic safe,clothes brush even a sewing kit(well you never know). Iron and ironing board available and drying facilities.
Holtwood was designed and built by us and has underfloor heating to the ground floor and thermostatically controlled radiators in all the bedrooms, heated towel rails in all bathrooms with shaver lights. A constant hot water supply to the mains pressure showers.
While the house may be modern the welcome is traditional. Friendly, relaxed,warm and affordable.
Breakfast is served in the dining room where we offer both the traditional full breakfast or the lighter continental. On the sideboard you will find; juice,fruit,cereals,toast,marmalade,jam etc. Were possible our food is sourced locally. Our sausages bacon and eggs are all local. We use free range eggs and only buy products that use the same.
Some eat to live ,we live to eat!!
