Bed and Breakfast Description

We extend a warm welcome to ‘Brambles’ We have been running our little bed and breakfast for 6 years and thoroughly enjoy the experience. We try to make our home feel like your home whilst you are with us and hope you have a lovely, relaxing time.

We are a single storey property set in our own grounds off the main A390. Although not adapted for the disabled all rooms are easily accessible and enjoy full ensuite facilities. We have ample off-road secure parking and lovely sunny gardens for you to enjoy.

Our conservatory, where breakfast is served, overlooks a wildlife garden brimming with birds . Sit and enjoy that extra cup of tea or coffee and see how many you can spot!

Our Guest Lounge is available every evening from 6.30 til 10.30. Come and have a chat with us about your day. We have lived in the area for some time and can advise you of local pubs, restaurants and things you must see whilst you are with us.

Brambles is open all year including Christmas and New Year, why not come for an out of season break.

We try our best to accommodate your every wish, although we cannot always change the weather!

Rooms are all ensuite.

All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, colour Digital TV, WIFI internet access, clock radios, hair dryers and shaver sockets can be supplied on request

All rooms have under-floor central heating

Please note – all rooms are NON-SMOKING

Local Attractions
We are ideally situated 5 mins from the world famous Eden Project. A ‘must see’ if you are visiting this area. A forever changing ecological wonder. During the winter time Eden holds various events during it’s ‘Time of Gifts’. Something different every day. And in the summer months Eden is becoming well known for its outdoor concerts featuring top name bands and groups.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only 20 mins drive away. A wonderful place to spend the day, whatever the season. The first project created by Tim Smit who went on to develop the Eden Project.

There are several lovely beaches within easy reach. Par Beach is a large, sandy, softly shelving beach, which is ideal for safe swimming.

A few minutes further on is Polkerris. A lovely small, sandy cove that has the added attraction of a pub, The Rashleigh Inn, set overlooking the sea. Great for sunset watching and dinner.

The fishing port of Fowey can be reached in about 15 mins. Great for an evening stroll along the Quay before dinner in one of the many Bars and Restaurants overlooking the River Fowey. Famous for being ‘Daphne Du Maurier’ country. During April Fowey holds a Daphne Du Maurier Festival with many famous names from the world of showbiz giving lectures, book readings and concerts. During August there is the Fowey Regatta to enjoy with many outdoor events, concerts and firework displays
